Mujer Araña / Fish & Trees series
The Fish & Trees series is a fusion of two themes we have previously explored in our artwork. To us it is a kind of Yin and Yang. It represents opposites that complement and encompass everything. It revolves around the archetypes of The Fish and The Tree, and invites spectators to submerge themselves in the innumerable metaphors and possibilities they suggest. The aim is to inspire the exploration, discovery or confirmation of each person's inner being, as well as the understanding and acceptance of contradictions. Essentially, it is a series dedicated to transformation and the recognition and embrace of opposites as a pathway to evolution.
La serie Peces y Árboles es una fusión de dos temas que hemos explorado previamente en nuestra obra. Gira entorno a los arquetipos Pez y Árbol. Invita al visitante a sumergirse en las posibles e infinitas metáforas sugeridas. Según nuestra visión Peces y Árboles es comparable al Yin y Yang. Representa opuestos que se complementan y abarcan todo. Impulsa a la exploración, al descubrimiento y a la confirmación del ser interior de cada individuo, al tiempo que ofrece la alcanzable posibilidad de evolución. En esencia, está dedicada a la transformación y a la comprensión y aceptación de lo opuesto como forma de evolución. A través de las representaciones de peces y árboles, exploramos la dualidad de la vida y cómo la integración de opuestos puede conducir a un mayor crecimiento personal.

The sculpture Spider Woman is part of the Fish and Trees series. Composed of two female figures, it adopts an abstract and elegant form in which the limbs stretch, arch, and rise, connecting with one another to evoke the delicate yet resilient structure of a spider. The flowing lines and organic curves create a presence that balances fragility and strength, blending the feminine essence with an archetypal animal form. The contrasting tones of black and white evoke duality and balance, central conceptual themes of the Fish and Trees series. The sculpture conveys the fluidity and interconnectedness of the elements it embodies, establishing a symbolic link with the archetype of the tree, rooted in strength, and with that of the fish, emblematic of movement and adaptability. This work invites reflection on the balance between vulnerability and strength, reflecting the interplay of grace and feminine power. It encourages the viewer to contemplate and appreciate the harmonious coexistence of opposites, a condition essential for transformation and growth, a recurring theme throughout the Fish and Trees series.
La escultura Mujer Araña forma parte de la serie Peces y Árboles. Compuesta por dos figuras femeninas, adopta una forma abstracta y elegante en la que las extremidades se alargan, se arquean y se elevan, hasta conectarse entre sí y evocar la estructura delicada y resiliente de una araña. Las líneas fluidas y las curvas orgánicas construyen una presencia que oscila entre fragilidad y fuerza, fusionando la esencia femenina con una forma animal arquetípica. Los tonos contrastantes del blanco y del negro evocan la dualidad y el equilibrio, ejes conceptuales de la serie Peces y Árboles. La escultura expresa la fluidez y la interconexión de los elementos que la atraviesan, estableciendo un vínculo simbólico con el arquetipo del árbol, enraizado en la fuerza, y con el del pez, emblema de movimiento y adaptabilidad.
